2004 the Suburban receives new 16-inch cast aluminum wheels, new 17-inch 5-spoke cast aluminum wheels available on LT trims, and tire pressure monitors for 1500 trims. New exterior colors are Dark Blue Metallic, Silver Birch, and Sport Red Metallic.The Suburban is Chevrolet's full-size extended wheelbase SUV that was first introduced as the Chevrolet Suburban Carryall in 1935. The real predecessor to today's Suburban was introduced in 1973, a new design with four doors and available 9-passenger seating. The current Suburban debuted for 2000 and incorporated the look of the Silverado pickups.
