It's a record that Ford is proud of and very motivated to protect. Redesigned in 1997, the F-150 ushered in a new generation of full-size truck that features aggressive, aerodynamic styling. With a new body, chassis and engine lineup, the F-150 also addresses growing consumer demand for increased creature comfort in trucks and it was also the first in the industry to feature a standard fourth door on all SuperCab trims. Ford goes one better with the F-150 SuperCrew crew cab, which arrived in the spring of 2000 as a 2001 model.
