The S-10 pickup returns for 2004 as a Crew Cab 4WD LS with a Vortec 4300 4.3-liter V6 and Insta-trac electronic shift-on-the-fly transfer case.The S-10 is Chevrolet's compact pickup that was in introduced 1982 as one of the first compact pickup trucks from a domestic manufacturer. In 1983 the extended cab and Insta-Trac 4-wheel-drive were added. The S-10 was redesigned in 1994 and a third door was added to extended cabs in 1996. Exterior and interior updates were done for 1998.
